Dr. Landy has a BSc(Eng), MSc(Eng) and PhD, Electrical Engineering, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. Licensed Professional Engineer (Missouri and failure analysis of electrical equipment and systems, particularly Electrical Power Generators, Transformers, Motors and Drives, High Voltage Equipment, Insulation Systems, Power Engineering systems, Instruction and Education and Litigation Support. Senior Member of the IEEE, Fellow SAIEE. Authored/co-authored over 150 articles on studies dealing with transient behavior of electrical machines, trace heating systems, linear machines and specialized transformers. Former Dean of Engineering, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. Presently an Adjunct Professor, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Missouri University of Science and Technology and Honorary Professor, School of Electrical and Information Engineering, University of the Witwatersrand. |
